Semester Reports

Thank you for your help with the semester reports.We really appreciate the host families keeping us updated on homestay and academic life with the students. All of the student’s parents in China are very grateful to receive these reports since they aren’t here and don’t always get all the details. Be sure to have your student talk to their parent’s about the semester reports because there is very valuable information on them. New Oasis has included academic guidelines and recommendations for each student on the semester reports, so it is important that they discuss it with their parents. Thanks again for helping us out and feel free to contact us with any updates you feel we should know about!

Final Stretch for Seniors

New Oasis has 13 seniors graduating this semester. They are all college-bound and currently waiting on admission decisions. So far, a few have heard back and were offered admission to Fordham University, Ohio State University, the Art Institute of Chicago, Michigan State University, and Pennsylvania State University. We are very proud of them and hope they get into the colleges of their choice! The final decisions should be made by the end of March so wish them luck!

Senior Graduation Trip

New Oasis is currently planning a senior graduation trip to California! We took a vote, and the student’s decided on Los Angeles and San Diego. The trip will be April 12-16 and will consist of a variety of fun activities. They will be visiting Disneyland, Universal Studios, Hollywood, La Jolla beach, and many other places! The final details for the trip should be set by the end of February.
